I learned and shared this tip how to easily show your computer name on the taskbar in windows 7 in 3 steps a while back, and have been using it since. I found it’s quite useful that I even used this tips as one of the options to pin the folder on the toolbar. But today, one visitor Boaz left a comment on that post sharing a much simple way of doing this. It’s so simple that you can actually show the computer name on the taskbar only in one step.
And here is how:
Right-click on Taskbar -> Go to Toolbars -> Choose New Toolbar, type in \\%computername%, and Click Select Folder. Done.
Awesome. Thank you, our lovely readers.
