Knowing the Reliability History in your Windows 7 [Feature]

The Reliability Monitor was introduced in Windows Vista first, which was built together with Performance Monitor called The Reliability and Performance Monitor. In Windows 7, it has moved to a new location under the Action Center.

To launch it, simply type “reliability history” in Search box from Start menu.

A second or two later, the report shows up, in Days by default.

You can view it in Weeks too.

In the history report, you can also

  • select the column that has the error to see detailed info at the bottom.
  • select the items in Action column for more information about each event.
  • save the history in XML format for future reference by clicking Save reliability history link at the bottom of the window.
  • view all problem reports.

By the way, my Windows 7 looks pretty reliable from the report.
