Remember during the Windows 8 Developer preview event Microsoft give away Samsung Series 7 Tablet for each of the devs who have attended that event. Later we found out that some of the developers turned this limited device (at that time) into high profit by selling it on ebay for over $4000 in cash. And a few weeks later the Samsung Series 7 Slate has appeared at the Microsoft store for $1299, and you can now buy it from Amazon for $1049.
So what’s the hype of this device ? Well this device is consider to be one of the first “official” Windows 8 supported tablets that includes build-in touch control that plays nicely with the new Windows 8 Metro UI.
Today, some owner of this Slate has turned it into a Lion Hackintosh, almost all of the hardware works except for the build-in wifi not working. I imagine this will not be an issue, all it required in this case is to buy a compatible wireless miniPCI card and swap the one from the Samsung Tablet.

Interesting, it seems that the touch panel works in Lion as an input device. Since Apple has never had their Mac OS X ported over on a tablet this will be one of the first that runs Mac OS X Tablet !
