  1. i am trying to put some docks on top of the desktop, but i dunno how to turn on that option, can somebody please help me..thanks

  2. I really like Apple products and am always going for the Mac look on my Win 7 64 bit, but the only dock like mac, XWindows Dock 5.6 doesnt work on Win7 64 bit.

    • what do you mean by turn on the dock ?

If you are looking for some of the dock listed above, you will need to download those and install the problem. Windows 7 by default doesn’t come with those docks

      Cheers

  3. the only reason why any of you guys need all those different docks is, that OS X looks good from the beginning. This looks all shit and way too overloaded. Sliding? Cycling? well.. OS X motivates to work professional, Microsoft keeps you busy playing with every little bullshit. PC user will obviously never get what it is all about…

    • I think that the microsoft OS, though admittedly not beautiful from the beginning, shouldn’t be dissed for it’s creative abilities.
…Not to mention that, well, not all of us out there have £2000 ($2500?) to spend on the LOW spec version of a macbook (I’ve seen the cost breakdown of what they expect you to pay for [for example] an extra 500GB of hard-drive and unless I was absolutely crazy I wouldn’t ever pay that much for it).
So all in all… do you not think it’s quite cool that people on a budget are therefore ENCOURAGED and INSPIRED by the beauty of the Mac OS system to use their minds to CREATE a beautiful, customisable interface on a shoestring, and then present it to the public open source or free & pretty much fully customisable?
…Or are you surrounded by a cloud of Mac-Smug so thick you can’t see your own hand in front of your abnormally large head?

      • Well put April. Sorry Dan.. owned.
People can install whatever they like to customize their environment.. Style and functionality are two sides of the OS coin.
I use win7, OS X, Linux.. all have their advantages and downfalls. If you like Windows, but want to stick a dock on it, go ahead!
I wonder if any mac users are searching for a taskbar?

  4. The best choice is Rocketdock or NexusDock..for windows 7(in my opinion)

I have used RocketDock and it’s really cool, I have take a look at Nexus one and it’s look great, I has too many of features and colors it’s really cool.
The best for me is Rocketdock and NexusDock

  5. On pressing Windows+D on key board to show desktop the dock menu is disappearing. Is there any setting to display dock menu all the time?

  6. I Like Rocket Dock.B’coz this is an amazing dock which have many options.Later Object dock.

Now i want to use circle dock, slider dock.

  7. What about dell dock
    It is actually quite handy
Also for subcategories within the dock so can minimize clutter.
Down side…you may need a dell comp to get it

  8. The best, in my opionon is Rocketdock. The only thing is that they don’t fully support x64 bit processors/OS’s. A lot of dock applications don’t or their not updated often. I would personally go with Nexus in this list. The other ones look silly and more confusing then the mess their supposed to organize. It does all the normal stuff for free and it supports all current Windows operating systems 32 and 64 bit.

    • hi you can download rocket dock (for free) by pressing at its name in blue….it will take you to another website then youll see a tab on the top called download press at it then press free download

  9. You claim they are virus free: Apparently you did not run a anti virus program after down loading the above docks inmjcluding Dell Dock. They include following virus: Double Click, Blank Page, Web Rub just to name a few. I ran Bitdefender against the down loads. Found a total of 84 virus. Anti Virus program codes are writen specificalt for windows O/systems. when you alter the O/System it will dramaticaly effect how the anti virus program works and often causes the anti Virus program to mal function such as lock up or windows crash. Best docking system. None, Cost Zero Dollars, Virus None, If you want a Mac buy a Mac. If you want Windows buy windows.
