Yesterday Microsoft announced a milestone mark since they acquired Skype in May 2011. Skype is now handling 2 billion minutes of conversation per day. What does this 2 billion minutes mean? Here is an infographic to help you visualize this enormous number. On top of this, please be aware that Microsoft is ending support for Messenger on April 8th, in favour of Skype. If you have not switched from Messenger to Skype be aware that you don’t have much time left, do so before April 8th. By then, Microsoft will force everyone to use Skype and retire Messenger.
