Here comes another Twitter client on Windows that uses Microsoft Metro UI to provide an elegant and clean user interface that’s beautiful to look at and a pleasure to follow the tweets.
MetroTwit is built on the latest Microsoft .Net 4.0, which will be automatically downloaded on to your computer during the installation, and Microsoft Presentation Foundation 4 framework, by Pixel Tucker Pty, a team of Long Zheng, David Golden and Winston Pang. It’s a client tool that successfully pulls me away from the twitter web interface for the first time because of its clean and eye-comfort user interface and simple yet intuitive features.
You can add more columns easily by clicking on the plus sign at the bottom of the window, as well as a list button and refresh button sitting at the right to the tweeting box with a tweet/user search and treat at the left.
You can also have many options how notifications can be sent, and which the 3rd party services you would like to use.
There is only one thing that is missing at this current beta, multiple-accounts support, but it will be included in the next version.
So, give it a shot if you are tweeting from Windows.
