I got my hand on this new Paralles Desktop 7 for about 2 days now, running on the new 13’ inch MacBook Air with 4GB of ram. Even on this new MacBook Air basic configuration it’s more than enough to run Windows 7 with full 3D acceleration and Aero effect.

This feature got extended in Paralles 7’s new release. It added a dedicated Windows application menu folder on your Dock. It makes accessing Windows application even more easier. My reply? Not so. The biggest reason PC users don’t switch to the Mac is because they have perfectly fine PCs running a perfectly fine OS and don’t see a need to pay exorbitant sums to a hyper controlling (and frankly evil) corporation for second rate hardware just because it’s wrapped up in “cool industrial design.”

Please don’t become another Windows site pushing the Mac OS or Apple hardware. Apple is the evil that people once claimed Microsoft was. OSX is a fine OS. When I can run it on the hardware of my choice, I’ll consider it. I and the vast majority of Windows users running Vista or 7 have exactly zero desire to run our OS inside of a Mac.

    • You’re absolutely right. Just providing an alternative option for users to get use/access Windows 7 on their Mac.

No offence, have no intention prompting Apple hardware here.
