Disappointed?

I have to confess that the trick is actually called GodMode revealed on Windows7theme that caught quite a bit buzz on the Internet today. People on most of the social networking sites are talking about this as though it’s a new hidden feature in Windows 7 that has just been discovered, wow.

The secret behind the scene

But is that something really new in Windows 7? Not really, there is actually no GodMode in Windows 7.  It’s just the same as Master Control Panel in Vista.

Isn’t the god-like code {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} look similar? Yes, it’s just the GUID (Globally Unique Identifiers) used behind the scenes for every single object, component, etc.

Let’s take look what this code really means in registry.
