NirSoft has a new tool called SecuritySoftView that displays the AntiVirus, AntiSpyware, and Firewall programs that are currently installed on your system and registered with the security center of Windows operating system. For each listed item, it also displays its Display name, Enable status, Up-to-Date status, Product Type (AntiVirus or AntiSpyware), Company, Version, etc.
Like other NirSoft tools, SecuritySoftView is free and portable. It works on all versions of Windows, from XP and up to Windows 10 with both 32-bit and 64-bit editions supported.
Yes, Windows Action Center lists all these installed applications but not in one place. Sometimes, it’s just easier having everything listed in place so you can tell what’s installed, what’s not installed, or what shouldn’t be installed from one quick look.
