If you are on Windows 10 Preview build, chances are there will be an app called “Insider Hub” installed on your Windows 10. A while back, Microsoft stopped pre-installing this app out of the box for some of the preview builds. Insider Hub is a very informative app to help you stay up to date on what’s new with Windows 10 Preview. If you are on Windows 10 Preview, but Insider Hub is nowhere to be found, chances are it’s now called “Feedback Hub” on your copy of Windows 10 or you need to add it back from optional features.
How To Add The Missing Insider Hub or Feedback Hub
First, go to Settings > Apps & features
Under Apps & Features, go click > Manage optional features
Click “Add a feature” under Manage optional features.
You should be able to find Windows Feedback Hub or Windows Insider Hub from the list. Select to install it, or uninstall if you have it installed.
Below is the “Feedback Hub” on one of my Windows 10 Preview copy.
The same app appears to be named different on a different copy of Windows 10 but given exact same build number. Here it’s called Insider Hub. Now you see my confusion when searching for Insider Hub and it was nowhere to be found only realized it was called Feedback Hub instead.
There you have it if you ever looking for your Insider Hub app in Windows 10 Preview. This might be the reason why it’s missing and now you know how to get it back.
“You should be able to find Windows Feedback Hub or Windows Insider Hub”
No, I’m not able to find either. It is just not listed.
