The Action Center has been revamped in Windows 10, along with the new notification system. Instead of seeing balloons popping up from the bottom system tray, you will be seeing the new Windows 10 notifications sliding out from the bottom right side of the screen.
By default, the new notification is set to pop up and stay visible for 5 seconds, the minimum amount of time to stay, before disappearing into the Action Center. Normally, it’s a good amount of time for most of the people. However, if you’d prefer seeing the notification window to stick around for a bit longer, you have the option to make that happen too.
Go to Settings app → Ease of Access → Other options. Select the drop-down menu of the option “Show notifications for” and choose the amount of time you want the notification popup to stay. You have the choose of from 5 seconds to 5 minutes.
While we are on the topic of talking about the notifications in Windows 10, let’s take the time to go to Settings → System → Notification & actions to review some of the other settings related to the notification and reassess which apps are allowed in the system to send you the notifications.
