Set Your Windows 7 Aero Color Based on the Weather

If you are the kind of person who wants to know what the temperature is just by looking at the Windows UI, or simply can’t decide on which Aero color to use, or would prefer having a dynamic changed color during the course of the day, you would definitely find this AeroWeather tool useful and handy.

AeroWeather is an interesting little free tool that does only one thing when it runs, change the color based on the current weather in your own location. You have the choice to set the color whether based on the temperature or the conditions.

The tool is very easy to use. The installation process is also quite straightforward. Simply download it from author’s website, and follow the installation wizard, you will be all set within a couple of minutes.

Unfortunately, the tool currently is only able to track the weather to those in US because other than US’s Zip code the tool doesn’t recognize any other postal code format.

AeroWeather also requires Microsoft’s .Net Framework 3.5 to be installed. If you don’t have it at the moment, it’s time to load it now. Actually, the installation process will prompt to install it for you.

It’s an interesting tool and you may find it’s fun to use after trying it out.
